A simple, user- friendly game configurator/ hacker. latest version 0.9.3
Allows for changing engine, ,wheels, handling, and game settings.
Allows for wheel position adjustment (X,Y and wheelbase width) and tire width adjustment
Allows for substituting the engine and drive characteristics from one car, and replacing it for another.
Allows for changes to the drivetrain. (ex. Swapping out FWD in favor of AWD)
USING:
Load your speed.exe file into tool and choose your car to tune from the scroll-down menu. make changes, Save. (wash, rinse, repeat for as many cars that you have.)
Unless you uninstall, this tool will be "tied" to your speed.exe file, so launching this tool is very quick, and allows for a faster time in-between tunes. I have found that the game needs to boot after each adjustment session in order for the changes to take effect.
CAUTION: back up all .car and .U2cfg files and your global.lzc file prior to tuning.

simple to change from front wheel drive, rear wheel drive, 4wd, and assign cars to suv class and vice versa.
I found this on code.google.com. It's freeware, virus and trojan free, and can be used w/out having to disable your windows firewall.
must upgrade to windows .NET 2.0 framework to install.
