First off: Don't forget to back up the original files before altering them!
Installation:
1) Copy GEOMETRY.BIN and TEXTURES.BIN from the download package into the CARS/RX7
folder. The car can be customized with paint, rims, sidemirrors, window tints and
vinyls. The vinyls all have correct positions, although not entirely symmetrical
on the sides. I also added a custom stripe and the Energizer vinyl from ProStreet
(tough job converting that sucker!).
2) Use NFS-CfgInstaller.exe to install Dodge Viper SRT10.u2car.
3) To install the secondary logo, use NFS TexEd by nfsu360 to open FRONTB/FrontB.lzc:
- Secondary logo: find entry #87 and replace it with Secondary_Logo.dds
4) To install the vinyl, open CARS/RX7/VINYLS.BIN using NFS TexEd by nfsu360. Replace
entries in it by textures from the VINYLS folder in the download package. The custom
vinyl names tell you what entries to replace.
5) Use NFS LangEd by nfsu360 open the language file of your choice in the folder
LANGUAGES. Find entry #517 and replace its text with "Viper SRT10".
